Join a local guide such as Yu for a three-hour evening in Tenjin, visiting two izakaya for fish, yakitori, and Fukuoka drinks. Your guide handles ordering and explains local customs, making this a useful first-night choice if Japanese menus and bar etiquette feel intimidating. Food and drink fees are extra.

“I had a lovely time joining Yu’s tour. She managed to show me the area with lots of bars and brought me to two izakaya which are very different. She’s a fun and social guide, made this tour experience wonderful.”

“Had a great time with Andy. I must hsve missed that he also was a german native speaker. That was a nice surprise. Got lucky that when we detoured to get a Totoro Picture at Canaal City I also got to catch the Gundam show. We had some ramen and a first drink at a yatai and he lead me to a cool and very retro looking Izakaya. If I come back in the next years I would book that again.”
